Capital Title – Uptown’s Justin Williams Attends North Texas GLBT Chamber of Commerce Celebration of Excellence Dinner

Back in April, our very own Justin (JT) Williams, from our Capital Title – Uptown office, attended the North Texas GLBT Chamber of Commerce Celebration of Excellence Dinner!

JT has served on the Board of the North Texas GLBT Chamber of Commerce (“the Chamber”) for more than 8 years now.  In 2016 he was elected by the Board of Directors to be the Chairman of the Board.  His role at this year’s Celebration of Excellence dinner, in addition to speaking (as a business person, non-profit volunteer, and community service activist), was to present awards to the recipients as they were called across the stage.

JT is proud that during his tenure as the Chairman of the Board, the Board collectively renamed our Lifetime Achievement award to the Jack Evans & George Harris Lifetime Achievement Award.  Jack Evans, aside from being a successful Realtor in Dallas for 38+ years, with his loving husband George, were the founders of the North Texas GLBT Chamber of Commerce.

“Having been a past award recipient several times over the years, it was an incredibly humbling experience to be the individual whose job was to recognize the people in our community who have made a difference here locally and beyond,” says JT.
