Scott Moize brings more than five decades of real estate and title industry experience to his role as President of Capital Title’s Dallas-Fort Worth Region. Since beginning his career in 1972, Scott has built a reputation for strong leadership, deep operational knowledge, and a commitment to serving clients, colleagues, and the communities in which he works.

Scott began his career in real estate while attending the University of North Texas, earning his real estate license and joining Carter Stout Realtors. In 1975, he transitioned into the title industry with Southwest Land Title Company, where he gained experience in virtually every area of the business, from abstract research to residential and commercial closing services. His broad understanding of title operations and leadership abilities led to his advancement from Assistant Vice President to Executive Vice President of Operations in 1984.

Following the acquisition of Southwest Land Title Company in 1999, Scott joined North American Title Company as President of its newly acquired Fort Worth Division. Working alongside a seasoned team of title professionals, he helped grow the division into one of the leading title operations in the Fort Worth market. In 2008, Scott was selected to serve as Division President of the newly created DFW Division, overseeing both the Dallas and Fort Worth markets.

Throughout his career, Scott has remained actively involved in the real estate and title industries through organizations such as the Texas Land Title Association, the Texas Association of REALTORS®, the Society of Commercial REALTORS® of Fort Worth, and the North Texas Commercial Association of REALTORS®. His civic involvement has included the Town North YMCA, service on the Board of Voice of Hope Ministries, and membership in the Dallas and Fort Worth Chambers of Commerce.

Today, as President of Capital Title’s Dallas-Fort Worth Region, Scott draws on decades of industry knowledge, operational experience, and relationship-building to lead and support teams throughout one of the company’s largest and most dynamic regions. With a family legacy in the title industry, he also takes great pride in helping strengthen the profession for future generations.

Outside of work, Scott is an active member of Fellowship Dallas, where he teaches Sunday school. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and hiking, as well as spending time with his four children and six grandchildren.
