Business Development Manager

Stacey Cunningham is a Business Development Representative at Capital Title’s Woodlands Research Forest office, where she is passionate about building lasting relationships and helping real estate professionals achieve long-term success.

Stacey entered the title industry at the end of 2020 following a successful 17-year career in accounting. Although she valued the experience and skills she gained in her previous profession, she was ready for a new challenge and an opportunity to work more closely with people. With both her mother and sister already established in the title industry, they encouraged her to explore a career in title. Taking that leap proved to be one of the best decisions she has made, and she is grateful every day to have found work she genuinely loves.

Drawing from her accounting background, Stacey brings a detail-oriented, proactive approach to every relationship and transaction. She works closely with real estate agents to help them build confidence with their clients by serving as a dependable partner throughout the closing process. Whether she is identifying potential issues before they cause delays, maintaining clear communication, or connecting clients with valuable resources, Stacey’s goal is to help create a positive closing experience that leads to repeat business and referrals.

What excites Stacey most about her work is the opportunity to contribute to the success of others. She enjoys learning about the goals of the real estate professionals she serves and finding meaningful ways to add value beyond the closing table. For Stacey, business development is about more than completing a transaction—it is about earning trust, strengthening partnerships, and helping her clients grow their businesses.

Born in Ada, Oklahoma, Stacey has called the Houston area home since she was six years old. Her lifelong connection to the area has given her a deep appreciation for the community and the people who make it such a wonderful place to live and work.

Outside of the office, Stacey can usually be found spending time with her husband and their boys. Much of the family’s free time revolves around sporting events, school activities, and enjoying meaningful moments together. Family is at the center of everything she does.

A fun fact about Stacey is that twins run throughout her family. She has an identical twin sister, two older sisters who are fraternal twins, and a mother who is also a twin, a unique family tradition that always makes for a great conversation starter.
