A native Texan from Plainview, Steve started his career as a Landman in the Oil & Gas business in 1982, soon after graduation from Texas Tech University. After starting a family, Steve transitioned into title insurance, mainly to avoid all the traveling he had been doing. That move turned out to be one of the best decisions in his life because, as it turned out, he possessed a natural talent for it!

Known for his extensive knowledge of the industry and recognized for his truly outstanding customer service. Steve feels he’s at his best when resolving difficult situations that could become obstacles to getting the deal done. He views himself as more of a problem solver than anything, and works closely with closers to help them foresee and remedy any issues that might arise during a transition.

Steve is recognized for his infectiously positive attitude, his charismatic personality, and his love of life. He greets everyone with a broad smile and is genuinely pleased to see you. Steve says that he absolutely loves to get up in the morning and looks forward to whatever the day will bring!

As an only parent for more than eighteen years, Steve is exceedingly devoted to his son and daughter, consistently making them his top priority, and regularly spends as much of his free time as possible with them. Steve also loves food and cooking, enjoys playing golf occasionally, and admits to being “fairly sociable”.
