San Marcos is full of community members who care. Alyssa Wyatt from our San Marcos office is one of them! The Leadership San Marcos program is intended to encourage involvement with the city, picking a project to help better the community.

“Leadership San Marcos is dedicated to providing opportunities to gain experience and knowledge to improve leadership ability and increase value for citizens. In eight full-day sessions held through the year, participants will explore the essentials of leadership and study the past, present and future needs of this community.”

After applying and interviewing to be a part of this project, Alyssa made it into the 2-year program and is working hard to make things happen! On Tuesday, April 26th at the Putt Pub, a local mini golf establishment in San Marcos, Alyssa and 9 other community members came together to raise money to build a shed for storage at a local women’s shelter! This fundraiser event was attended by 100 people and raised money for their goal of 15k! This event took 6 months of planning and execution, which is a true reflection of her dedication and resolve! Capital Title was a hole sponsor for this event, aiding in the effort! Congratulations to Alyssa Wyatt and the members of the San Marcos Leadership class of 2027 on this successful event!
