Tom Newburn is a natural people connector whose relationship-driven approach has made a lasting impact on friends, clients, and business associates throughout his career. Known for his kind demeanor, humble manner, and willingness to help, Tom rarely accepts “no” as the final answer when there may still be a way to bring people together, solve a problem, or move an opportunity forward.
Professionally, Tom is passionate about commercial real estate and enjoys introducing people who may never have otherwise crossed paths. Throughout his career, he has established relationships with numerous investors and private equity funds across the United States, giving him access to an extensive network of professionals, capital resources, and potential opportunities. Tom has a talent for recognizing mutually beneficial opportunities and connecting the right professionals, investors, and resources to help commercial real estate transactions come together. His goal is simple: help make deals happen, guide them successfully to the closing table, and create outcomes that benefit everyone involved.
Tom’s pleasant personality and unique relationship-building style have earned him friendships and professional connections across a wide network. He approaches each interaction with authenticity, patience, and a genuine desire to see others succeed. Whether he is facilitating an introduction, supporting a complex transaction, or helping someone overcome an obstacle, Tom strives to be a trusted and dependable resource.
Faith and family are central to Tom’s life. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Lisa, and their family. He is also an active participant in the Links Players Bible study group at Fair Oaks Ranch Country Club, where members gather each week for fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual growth.
An avid sportsman, Tom especially enjoys college football, college baseball, golf, snow skiing, skeet and sporting clays, dove hunting, and quail hunting with bird dogs. He is equally committed to maintaining an active lifestyle through daily exercise, weight training, swimming, cycling, and running. A former triathlete, Tom competed in sprint-distance triathlons for several years.
Tom also has a deep appreciation for American and Texas history. He is a member of the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution and has strong family connections to both the American Revolution and the Republic of Texas. Ancestors on both sides of his family served in the Continental Army and fought alongside George Washington during the Revolutionary War. His family also played a role in surveying New Braunfels during the era of the Texas Revolution and the Republic of Texas.
Through his work, faith, family relationships, and community involvement, Tom continues to bring people together with warmth, humility, and purpose.
