Matthew LaBrot is an attorney with Capital Title of Texas in Plano, where he helps clients and colleagues navigate complex real estate matters and resolve issues that may arise throughout the closing process. Known for his attention to detail, responsiveness, and commitment to getting things right, Matthew takes pride in carefully working through challenges and identifying practical solutions that keep transactions moving forward.
Matthew has experience working with residential and commercial real estate clients, business owners, and individuals with estate planning needs. Since entering the title industry in 2023, he has focused primarily on real estate transactions and enjoys serving as a dependable resource for escrow teams, clients, and industry professionals. He values building strong relationships and strives to be someone others can rely on when a transaction requires thoughtful analysis and steady guidance.
A Greenville, Texas, native, Matthew earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from Stephen F. Austin State University, graduating magna cum laude. He later earned his Juris Doctor from UNT Dallas College of Law, where he graduated cum laude.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, kayaking, and attending live music performances. He is also the recipient of an Agatha Award for Best Children’s/Young Adult Novel, reflecting his lifelong appreciation for writing and storytelling.
